Just a short one here, i have got an advance copy of a new system that is about to hit the market on monday- yes another one i hear you say. The site lists results for June and July this year, and to 1 point level stakes the system has made 81.58 points profit . I am going to test this over the weekend and verify the results - more on Monday

As you may well remember a few weeks ago I said that Sam had asked me to trial this football laying system, and that I wouldnt start the trial until we had our first bet.
Well tonight we had our first bet and with the start of the UEFA cup competitions and the leagues about to start for proper I think that we will see regular bets from now on.
I have decided not to use the system for friendlies but only for league and cup games as they are obviously more competetive and you wont see masses of changes as you would in friendly games.
The author states that his starting bank of £100 has grown to £1600 in approx 8 months by betting to a 10% liability of the bank on each lay.
So I shall start with £100 and also bet to a 10% liability of the bank on each lay.
There is never more than 1 lay on any given day and all are odds on, the author also claims a strike rate of just over 50% and considering they are all odds on then thats fine.
Our first bet was to lay Ath Bilbao at 1.66 result 0-1 so a profit of £15.15.
Bank now stands at £115.15 and our next bet will be to a liability of £11.51 which is of course 10% of the bank.

Lived up to it's name again today with 2 winners from 8 selections.The winners were at SP's of 8/1 and 2/1.Like yesterday placing the bets at early prices payed off as I was fortunate enough to get them at 14/1 and 11/4 but the 4 point gain on the day is calculated using SP's.The main culprit today keeping the profit down was one race where there were 4 selections which all lost.Profit now moves ahead to 9.1 points.

Monday the first day of the test produced 6 bets,4 losers ,one winner at 13/2 and one place at 20/1.The winner was available at 14/1 early morning with several bookies and this is the price I got,but for the purpose of the test I shall use the SP prices [13/2 in this case].As stated previously some of the bets are 1 point win and some are 1 point each way, all explained in the manual.Today saw a profit of 5.1 points,so a good start.

Over the next few weeks I shall be testing the above system from Sportsworld Publishing.It claims to have made £130,000 profit over the last 2 years to £100 stakes and is a backing system.The manual is extremely well written and takes you through the simple selection process which should take no more than a few minutes per day. Basically you bet the horses of certain trainers at certain courses for either 1 point win or 1 point each way.A quick look at the comprehensive results pages shows what I would call long losing runs of up to 16 but if you can put up with this the profit graphs do keep edging forwards as some of the winners are priced up to 20/1.I look forward to testing this with great interest to see if it lives up to the huge claims made by Sportsworld Publishing.Let's hope it can.

I have just been sent a copy of what is known as The Ultimate Sports Betting System, from Expert Bet . I am going to be testing this for the next three months or so
Any road, this system makes the biggest claims that i have ever seen if you look at the sales page here the author rubbishes virtually every system on the market, never before have i seen this in a sales page and i have been reviewing systems for over a year now, in fact, some of the systems that Mark ( the author) rubbishes i have actually approved!!
I have had a quick read at the ebook, which seems very easy to operate and can be done by people who work full time. On top of this, the system is proofed to the respectable secret betting club and apparently it has had a 100% strike rate in the last 5 years, and that is not a typo!!
Anyway, i just thought id let you know to keep an eye out for this one, it certainly talks the talk but can it walk the walk!!

Sam has asked me to take a look at this system and as you will see from the title its another laying system, but this time its for the place market.
The author recommends a bank of 50pts but doesnt actually say if its level stakes, but seeing as there is no staking plan I will assume that its level stakes to 1 pt per race.
As usual I will start with a bank of £1000, so the first bet will be £20.
I will have to use a bot to record the bets and the betfair odds, so there is a possibility that some of the bets will be different to those that the author will claim, but mostly the bets will be the same.

I have tested this system as regular readers will no for 300 days now and i think that this is any given amount of time to carry out a test and get a good understanding of how exactly a system does preform. The 300 day test is the exception id say, rather than the rule in terms of how long i will test a system and i will explain why i indeed did carry out a test for this period of time. This system at the tail end of last year went 40 successful lays on the bounce, something that must indeed be a record for any laying system, however it did then under go a bumpy patch, something which many people would argue it has not yet got out of. The thing people dont realise with betting of any sort that a snap shot, be it a few days, weeks , whatever isnt necessarily a true picture of how a system preform at all, and W2L is a perfect example of this.
Since 2005 using the recommended bank and staking this system has made over £176K, all results are available on the site and are all verifible, this is backed up by the £1000 reward for anyone who can spot an error in them.
2009 seems to be the worst overall period for this system with it currently being -£2346.77 down as of the end of June.
Anyway, when you buy W2L you are given a comprehensive ebook, which shows the 7 simple rules that are required to operate the system. There is also a lengthy chapter which details how to lay at SP, something which many people say is impossible to do.
All systems have their ups and downs and while this was on the up at the end of last year it could be said that the prices of the horses being laid became over inflated due to the amount of people using the system. That said, and people being people, and because the system did take a dip would mean that in my opinion they would stop using it and in turn allow the prices to again settle.
I must also say that with all systems good periods are followed by bad periods and bad periods are followed by good ones, so now might be as good a time as any to get on this system
Winners to Losers is a time proven system and because of this i can do nothing but give it an approved rating and i have no hesitation in doing so

My Favourite Betting System-Final Review
The system as stated makes it very easy to find the selections and like so many systems churned out weekly by expert marketers after a quick buck, has very little genuine substance behind it. There are a few rules to help you to make the daily selections of which there can be many and then anything that satisfies these few rules becomes a selection with no thought at all given to important factors such as suitability on the going ,weight carried,strength of the opposition etc. Such systems can and do work short term but long term are in my opinion sure to fail.It started the test period and quite quickly gained over 20 points but just as quickly this turned into a loss before recovering again.The test period proved to be a real roller-coaster ride.There were 296 selections giving 199 successful lays and 97 unsuccessful lays which equates to a strike rate of 67.2% and is not good enough to be profitable long term.The results were based on Betfair SP and any profits stated were minus the 5% commission.The ficticious £1000 bank was used to bet £10 for each Lay and finished the test period losing 5.4 points or £54 in monetary terms. At the end of the day we buy systems to make money and although this system did not lose too much during the test period the weakness of the overall package makes it one to be filed under the failed category.

Two qualifying races at Kempton Park produced no winning bets last night and for that matter not even one of our six selected runners even hit the frame with all finishing way down the field making what I would consider a 6 point level stake loss on the meeting based on our £10 per selection staking.

Updated Results: After back checking the results for the last seven meetings on our 10 horse criteria we have found more races and have had the two winners from 9 qualifying races. I have given one race the benefit as one of our winners was due also to run in a later race which subsequently reduced the minimum runners and I wavered the non-runner rule in this case only. For those who would prefer to stick religiously to this ruling just simply add a 3 point loss to the account as the later race wasn't successful. The service however is still claiming a 68 point profit this year as was before the test so maybe my concept of a point profit is somewhat different? We have a couple of qualifying races tonight so I will post these tomorrow.

Another good day today.There were 11 bets in total giving 8 winners and 3 short priced losers.Gain on the day was £31.50p and the profits climb to £133.60p.Still a fair way off the highest point in the test but recovering well.

The Edge
From now on I will be testing the suggest selections by the seller of the system instead of all the qualifying horses. This will mean less selections but hopefully better results. You place half a point in the Betfair place market and half a point in the win market for the selection. Some times their will be a 1 point straight win bet. I will be starting this test again with a £500 starting bank and a £10 per point bet.

The Sporting Specialist comes in a 42 page pdf, and the first thing we see is the caption " Become a real winner betting on sports events"
Chapter 1 is called the Introduction surprisingly and contains two articles namely the fundamentals and bank roll management, fair enough this is commone enough in most betting manuals .
Chapter 2 is made up of 12 different betting systems, some of which i have seen available for free on the internet and throughout this as well the author recommends someone elses products, im not going to take the time to test any of these nor verify them, because (A) there is no profit claims or results for any of the systems detailed in the book and (B) i simply dont have the time to spend on a wild goose chase doing it
Chapter 3 is "the ultimate money management system" while the theory isnt too bad i noticed the next page which is titled Resources for sport betting, you would think this would be full of useful links such as odds comparison sites, odds conversions that type of thing and while yes it does have an element of that the first 6 links are recommendations of other systems, which tells me that if the author has to recommend other peoples products he must not have too much confidence in his own?

Anyway thank you David for pointing out the obvious and inexcusable mistake..
