The Golden Key Method Review.

The Golden Key Method basically lets you lay and back selections at equal money resulting in a commission only trade should your selection lose the race. If it wins and the price to lay shortens from the price you backed it at then you win the difference in price. We use Betfair to lay the selection at the starting price and use one of two highstreet bookmakers to back our selections. As you aren't negating your trade with betfair then the liabilities, albeit low risk, can be quite high and is suggested to use betting software to place your bets. If you have enough in your betfair account then you can place them all at the same time.
With practice I found I could do all the price matches on six meetings in around 20 minutes anytime from around 10:00am - 12:00am and maybe leaving the evening races a little later.
Over the past 30 days we had a steady stream of winning bets of which the majority in fairness only shortened in price a little and were mainly selections in the first three of the betting. Some of our bigger priced bets suggested at the 15.0 mark had a natural tendancy to go either way as the Betfair s.ps can drift considerably in comparison to their bookmaker counterparts.
All in all the system performed okay making 12.84 points profit and bearing in mind that if you used even £30 on each low risk bet would have made nearly £400 for the month.
I think the systems claim of 100 points per month is quite optomistic and never came even close in terms of potential but in general I felt confident that my profits were quite safe most of the time.
My only concern as is with many other systems that use a specific bookmaker it may not last but in our case they should be making money out of us overall as we are covering the bets using Betfair and the majority of our stake they should keep.
If I had to rate the system I would give it a 3.5 out of 5 given that it is simple enough to use but we don't know how it does perform over the long term. It appears on the face of it to be a useful addition to your betting portfolio and can be used on a part time basis. My opinion would be to start at a sensible staking level and re-work your profits.
